Hi,
I have only joined to day but have been collecting for a little while.
I'm particularly keen to locate plaques, oddities etc.
To this end I thought I'd mention that I'm working on the forthcoming UK series Hylacean..set aboard a military space vessel in the future.
At least one of the eps sees several characters visit a private gaming club and the props department are designing a small number of custom tokens and plaques which I'm assured will be very distinctive.
I should be able to post occasional updates on this if anyone here feels it is of interest. If the subject is too off-topic I apologise.

Actually, I am interested in both the show and the gaming chips. I'm obvious interested in chips because I am here but the show sounds like something I would watch. I've just watched all of Torchwood and caught up on the latest season of Dr Who. Loved other BBC shows like Wire in the Blood, MI5, etc.
Hi Nexttime,
Hylacean is a UK indie show that looks like a satellite show in the UK and probably cable in the US.
It concerns the exploits of the Starcarrier Hylacean- the biggest weapon mankind has ever built- as it maintains order in the aftermath of a massive war across the three star systems that mankind has colonised .
Its dark and edgy, surprisingly political.Reminds me of the new Battlestar Galactica slightly and, if you remember it, an older BBC series called Blakes Seven.
There are a couple of actors cast that you'll probably recognise if you like British shows but I'm not sure I'm allows to name them yet.
Wow!
Blake's Seven.. That was a great show. BBC clasic sci-fi. I would love to see/hear more about this new show. Please keep us in the loop. A few "spare" props of the chips being sent out would be nice too .
I have obviously got my eye on a couple for myself.
I know they do intend to make some extra for competition prizes etc and they are being made " in house" so when they get close to a design I'll see what kind of run they are doing.
Ok, ok... This is where I am exposed for the true sci fi geek I am.....
I loved that Blake's 7. I'd invest my own money to in be involved in a re-make of it. It would be hard to replace some of the original actors who played parts like Avon, Blake, etc.
Last year I bought the entire series of Blake's 7 on DVD....
Ahh yes, "Gambit". If you do, let me know. Would love to get a sample.
Um.. Me too please .
Blake's Seven was the best. Full set on DVD as well as a few eppisodes on VHS. I had a chance to pick up one of the teleporter wrist bands that was used as a prop on the show but I let is slip away.
I remember being offered some Federation props years ago but I couldn't afford them at the time..however I just remembered that I own some chips from Quarks place on Deep Space 9 even though I'm not that into Trek.
