My mom got a new computer. I was helping her set it up when I came across Poker Superstars II...so I had to take time and play.

After 7 matches, of which I had played 3 of them, I was atop the leader board and undefeated.

I gotta say, the pro's made some weak/marginal calls against me and I was knocking them out left-and-right. The game doesn't keep hand histories or I'd show some of them. Realistically, the pros don't make these calls in real life.

I wish I had thought of screen snapshotting earlier. I took down one pro with the hammer! After a preflop raise from the button, I pushed all-in from the BB with 72o. The pro (I forget which one), turned over AQ...and I paired! WOOT!

So just to summarize you went all in with a 72o got called by a pro with AQ....were an extreme dog but hit.....and you are saying that the pros were making weak/marginal calls?

There's a difference between pushing and calling...I pushed...he called.

I don't claim this was a good, normal play. But, I had everyone at the table covered by 3x and I was curious to see what the program would do. I believe its the only time I went in with the weaker hand.

In the other cases, the software had them calling AIs with an open-ended straight draw (at best)...and a lot of middle pairs/weak kicker, etc.

In one hand, I had AA, re-raised a raiser, who re-raised me, who i re-raised again, they re-raised, I went AI...they had 44. (the software is weird in that it claims we are playing NL, but you had limit raises or you could go AI...nothing in between)

And this thread was just for silly fun...no claims about "real" poker playing.

A-Q is not an "extreme favorite" over 7-2. It's about 65-35...
