I forgot it was on and only saw the last half. Poor Mike Matusow: Daniel gets it in with the worst hand twice and beats him. And then the final hand, Mike has two pair, Daniel top pair (aces), and Mike says, "If you win, I don't think I can hold it together!"

And I am sure all of you guys will be happy to hear that Shana is doing the hosting. I have to say that during the first couple of seasons of the WPT I couldn't understand all the fuss about Shana -- she is attractive, sure, but not super-hot (at least in my eyes). And I thought her commentary stuff was pretty dumb. Little did I know -- her replacements made her look like genius!

God I was going to ask you guys if you also didn't get NBC heads up, but apparently you did. I didn't get it , instead it was like paid programming. ARGGHHHH

I am very disappointed in the coverage; this is essentially a highlights-and-feature-story program. Was I able to gain any insights whatsoever into HU play? Hardly. What a waste of time. And yet I watched the entire program...

Nah, no highlight real. With the structure they use you only get to play about 10 hands per match... so we saw most of the hands.

The Hearts bracket started play at 5:26 p.m. Matusow took out Negreanu around 6:46, an hour and twenty minutes in. The longest match was Misrachi v. Juanda, which ended around 6:58 (after a brief delay when both players stepped away from the table). That's a few more hands than 10 per match, even allowing for TV production delays. Check out the coverage reports at CardPlayer.com and PokerPages.com.

Although these are the time stamps from the Card Player blog and are therefore not exact, they're probably fair indicators of the length of play for this round.
