Do you really think these people are waiting around a few months until it airs, just hoping to catch that one hand where someone wouldn't show and uttered those words?
It kind of makes me wonder how many times people say it where that particular hand didn't make the show. |

I wonder what the % of hands they edit out are... its got to be high... I remember last year watching the WSOPME and so many hands were culled from the televised version it was crazy...
that saying doesnt drive me as insane as the people who sit at the table and spout out "I've got the best hand, but i am going to lay it down"...

freaking call if you think you have the best hand!

or "show the bluff, its good for the game"

Chips: 529 | | | Re: "You'll see it on TV" I remember being in the Full Tilt Pro Chat with Andy Bloch when the HORSE event aired. They left out HUGE portions where the chip swing was a few million, and Andy kept noting that they left out every time he got the chip lead back from Chip Reese.
Then again, that match was like 7 hours heads up or something I think, they have to edit a ton out.
I'm just really sick of everybody being a professional, and thinking they are poker gods, and also kings of comedy and wit. Shut the hell up and play cards, if you're so good, you'll win. |

being on tv provides a unique luxury...that of getting an immense amount of info that you'd never have had otherwise.
i agree that it's a cliche, but one that i can really relate to. |

If you ask me, you'll rarely get the truth but you will hear what you want. If I report a weak hand they believe it, when I report a strong hand they deny it.
I mucked for a reason!
