Cliffnotes...

Gordon made some comments about the way Lindgen plays (I think it was in context with the thanksgiving tournament gordon Won? can't remember for sure) that were somewhat negative. Gordon seemed to think that he was a relatively transparent player and that he made lots of mistakes.

Negreanu responded with some nasty comments back at Gordon in his Blog and I don't think Lindgren made a big deal about it.

In the episode, Lindgren is obviously irritated at Gordon to begin with and Gordon is trying to act like everything's just ay o.k. There are several times where the two of them trade words and you can tell Lindgren is not amused with Phil.

Lindgren gets into a big hand against Antonius, makes a big bluff after missing his flush w/2 overs draw and Antonius makes a great call on the river with a pair of 5's. Almost immediately after the hand is over Phil is falling all over himself to congratulate Antonius and ask's what hand did you put him on? to which Antonius responds flush draw. Phil then say's "yeah thats what I thought too."

Gordon is known for making statements like this where he comes off as knowing everything there is about the game and always making the right decision. Lindgren then calls him an idiot and says it sure is easy as an anouncer when you can see the whole cards.

Later on in the show Gordon apologises and asks Lindgren if they can go back to being friends and Lindgren say "hell no."

Some people speculate if lindgren was joking around or not but its clear he has a strong dislike for Gordon.

watching now. gordon's a big old dooooosh, and apparently in the first part of the episode somewhere lindgren calls gordon an idiot (and not in a nice doyle-teasing-ted-forrest way).

nice. it was actually pretty evil of lindgren...much worse than i expected.
here's the root of it, apparently: gordon talks trash about lindgren, and DN rips gordon for it.

Doubt that would ever happen. There'd probably be some contract that Phil wouldn't sign and the whole match would fall through...
