Chips: 530 | | | 2006 USPC on ESPN2 Unfortunately, I did not have internet access to post this earlier, but..
Did anyone else catch the 2006 United States Poker Championship at the Taj Mahal on ESPN2 earlier? I'm in EST, and it had 5 "new" episodes on from 6:00 pm until 11:00pm
This was the first time I've caught any of this tournament on TV, has it been on at all? They are using the WSOP announcers (McEachern and Chad) for the event, and the episodes were fairly entertaining, but it's still the run-of-the-mill ESPN poker show, nothing special really. More annoying Jamie Gold coverage. |

I think Funston is one the names:
I'm gonna bet 2 oranges, 2 purples and 2 greens. Classic!
Also, I LOVE those chips they are using. Are those Paulson's? |

I absolutely love the color combination with the chips, and I do believe that they are hot stamped solid Paulsons. |

Since I loved the colors so much I bought a custom hotstamped set from Blue Chip Company...You could do the same for a pretty good price.

Jamie Gold talking people out of hands again was classic. Someone is going to figure this out someday and bust his arse. |

Chips: 530 | | | Re: 2006 USPC on ESPN2 The colors are even better at the beginning!
A lighter green color for the 25, maroonish 100, blurple 500, orange 1000, and I can't really tell the color of the 5000 chip, it's like a mix between green and brown. |

Chips: 933 | | | Re: 2006 USPC on ESPN2 I like to watch it because it is more like actually being and/or playing in the tournaments themselves. It can be boring to watch at times, and it is boring to play in alot of the time. It gives you a better perspective of what really happens at deep stack tourneys with large buy ins. There are a ton of uneventful hands, with a few good ones and few laughs mixed in.. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
