Spoiler policy: like it or not good enough?

Vote yes or no. if it's not ready yet, that's fine, we'll come up with something that makes people happy.

discussion here

edit: poll choices have to be short, so i couldn't say as much as i wanted.
the basic idea is that people know things at different times. i follow tournaments live online, those that live overseas won't know results for a year. so spoilers are highly subjective. we can't avoid them by putting SPOILER!!!!! in nearly every thread in this forum. since that's kinda...dumb...what we need to do is make subject lines spoiler-free. then people can open or not open threads at their discretion.

that way, instead of the "sunglasses broken" title, that thread should have been called "HSP season 3 ep 3 OMGZ" or the like.

Re: Spoiler policy: like it or not good enough?

I see the poll now. Thought I was losing it. I voted on the top 1. I believe it shouldn't be in the thread title. JMHO

Is this what you meant by the first poll choice?

Re: Spoiler policy: like it or not good enough?

I think you just need to put the name of the show/event in the title and you're cool. No reason to write "Spoiler". If you have the title reading "HSP -last night's show" that'll do it. Or "WSOP ME winner", that's cool.

Sounds reasonable.

Now, enforcement. Anyone who doesn't set the subject line correctly should be forced to use official 11.5 gram dice chips for their next two games.

if you vote no, of course, it's expected that you add to the conversation. why not? what's a better idea, and so forth. link in OP to the discussion thread.

Re: Spoiler policy: like it or not good enough?

Sorry For My Poor Title choice .

I will do better next time and I agree with JoJo Spoiler Alerts for every TV Show in this Forum would be pretty redundant.
