Whenever I watch poker on TV I can't help to think if ever there was a movie about the lives of these players who would play them? Well I compiled a few of who I thought would be the best candidates for each of them. Feel free to add your own thoughts, I can't think of one for Phil Ivey except tiger woods. My list goes like this:
Daniel Negreanu = Ed Norton
Eric Lindgren = Boomer Esiason
Alan Cunningham = John Malkovich
Phil Laak = Tommy Lee
Freddy Deeb = Danny Devito
Dan Harrington = Jamey Jasta(hatebreed) or
Old Biff from Back to the future part 2
Andy Black = Tim Curry
Paul Darden = Emmit Smith
Johnny Chan = Bolo Yeung (Bloodsport)
Jeffrey Pollack = Simon Cowell
WSOP Bracelet = Mr. T
Last but never least I had this in another post: Jamie Gold = Michael Jackson

I'm glad that someone else thinks that Jamie Gold looks like Michael Jackson. For some reason in my collective group of poker friends nobody thinks he looks like MJ except for me.....

phil laak?= could also be jeffrey goldblum (dye his hair blond)
Jeffrey Lisandro = the guy who plays tony soprano
prahlad friedmann = johnny knocksvile
chris moneymaker = larry the cable guy
cindy violette = meg ryan
jennifer tilly and chad brown as themselves

Was watching One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest tonight.... Christopher Lloyd as Gus Hansen, Danny DeVito as Freddy Deeb, and Vincent Schiavelli looks a lot like Barry Greenstein.
