Re: High Stakes Poker - Season III

i dont actually believe they play in the casino for this show. it looks like its a hollywood set and they just ask for sponsorship from a casino to put their name on it. because the first and 2nd season the room looks exactly the same. and where would such a room be inside a casino? the only problem to my theory is the chips are real house chips.

I think the rooms were alittle different and during the first season of HSP I remember they got a floor ruling and it was the same guy from the Poker SuperStars from the Golden Nugget, I think they just use a private confrence room or something and most confrence rooms look the same so that might be it.

Re: High Stakes Poker - Season III

Paul Wasicka? arrrrgh!!!!

(pulls out hair)

the guy doesn't see a river for 10 straight hours at the ME final table. he just folds and folds to move up in money. then he decides he'll show a bluff to Cunningham to try and show up the pro. I mean the guy was playing like a tourist.

also, Sniper is right, they played in conference rooms.

Um, you say "here in Vegas" like you're there in Vegas. If that's true, it's not fair and how do you do that?!? I'm so jealous...

I can't wait for season 3, although I was not a fan of the big hooded cameras between the players. It felt so clinical. Weird. I'm sure that most of the nicer casinos have conference rooms like the ones used on HSP. Although, they may have just used a suite. Doesn't seem too far fetched to me.

Wow, what uninspired and totally boring chips! I gotta say, they really suck.

Re: High Stakes Poker - Season III

yeah, I'm not a fan of the inlays either, but if someone dropped a cool $1000 in my pocket, I wouldn't complain either.

Well yeah for cash value, I would love them. But the spots and colors look like a cheap chinese chip and the inlay looks like no thought was put into it.
