New Poker League/Show with Dan Negreanu

DN says the PPL will feature 8 teams of 8 players each and the draft is Oct. 7th. Sounds cool. Of course, he made "Stacked" sound cool, too.

This got me to thinking, it would be cool to do our own fantasy poker league, with x number of CT members drafting teams of players.

This has been in the works for a while. It sounds very promising. Alot of the TV pros will be involved. Daniel is a captain for one of the teams. There are two captains for each team that are responsible for the draft and managing the team. Also, there will never be more than one player from a team at a table. 8 teams, one player from each at the table. Daniel also said that it will be structured more like a cash game in that there wont be a definitave winner each week like a tournament, and the structures wont make for all-in fests. Definately looking forward to the draft. Should make for awesome TV.

this structure (one player from each teeam at each table) is how pokerroom does team play.

it works purty well, but for something this size they may have to dig deep.

how deep? 64 name pros? sounds pretty easy to me.
