I was just wondering if anybody could offer some insight into the colouring-up procedure at the WSOP ME this year.

I have been made aware that the starting stacks were as follows:

$25 x 8
$100 x 8
$500 x 8
$1000 x 5

At what point were the $5000 chips introduced, for example? Were the $25, $100 or $500 chips replaced by $5000?

25's off for more 100's and 500's
100's off for more 500's and 1K's
500's off for more 1K's and 5K's...and so on...

Of course as the big stacks start collected more than their fair share of smaller denom's, tourney directors will color up the players stack during play sometimes, and 5K chips start to drip into the game that way also...
