Louie Anderson Likes the River
Louie Anderson wins a pot after pushing all-in upon hitting the nut flush on the river, causing his opponent to muck. | oh, by the way: Quote: | Sun Jul 30 13:03:00 PDT 2006
Farha Eliminated With Full House
John Phan raises pre-flop, and he is called by Joe Berry and Sam Farha. The flop comes 9[h]6[h]4[h], Phan raises, Berry calls, and Farha re-raises. Phan folds and Berry smooth calls. The turn brings another 6, and once again, Farha bets into Berry who just calls. The river brings a 10, and Farha moves all-in. Berry calls and Farha flips over pocket 9s for a full house. Berry shows pocket 6s, and Farha can't believe his opponent turned quads against his top set. Farha is eliminated. |

Greg Raymer Doubles Up
On a flop of 1075, the big blind checks and Raymer bets $1,100. A player in late position raises to $2,200. The big blind and Greg Raymer call. The turn is the A. The big blind checks and Raymer moves in for $3,500. The player in late position folds and the big blind folds. Raymer shows A10 for top two pair. His opponent shows 98 for an open-ended straight flush draw. The river is the 2. Raymer more than doubles up to $15,200. | plus, somehow louie is still in 29th place with 12,200 chips... (raymer is 20, daniel n. is 8, t.j. is 13, matusow just got bumped out of the top 30, nad, oh yeah, aaron "the vacuum" kanter is doin' his thing at 25 right now...)

Mike "The Mouth" Matusow Eliminated
At the ESPN featured table, Mike "The Mouth" Matusow calls all in on for approximately $10,000 on a flop of 9[d]4[d]7[s], after heavy preflop betting. Both players flip up their hands, Matusow with 7[c]7[h] and his opponent with K[d]J[d]. The A[h] falls on the turn, and Matusow now has to dodge only a diamond or he will double up. The river brings the 3[d], and a very dejected Mouth is sent to the rail. | damn, i actually really like matusow...
