Scroll to the bottom, they report that Minh Nguyen never even showed up to the main event, they just blinded all 10,000 of his chips away.

I remember seeing on a WPT event that if you did not play a single hand, you would have lasted until several hours into day two. I am surprised that someone could lose 10,000 in chips in just the one day. |

abs poker wont be too happy.
they probably just removed his chips after day one since he didnt show. its hard to believe youd get blinded off in 12~ hours with low blinds..

Yeah when I saw this on CardPlayer I was shocked. How high do the blinds have to get by the end of the day to blind off 10,000 chips?!? Hellmuth's gonna be down to 2,000 chips by the time he shows up for his heat.

blinds start at 25-50 and levels are 30mins if i remember right 
Too bad for him tho, hes been playing so good lately, and something must have happened badly to keep him away from the wsop.
