Wpt 5/3 Pca

How about that AQ raising to 100k with only 300k in chips?

It just blows my mind anyone could make such a bonehead move after reaching the final table. If you get called pre-flop, you are pot-committed and if you don't pair, you are probably dead.

K 9 calls and pairs both hole cards.

I couldn't believe the act on the set of eights. If someone blows that hard and then gives me the fake sigh...then check-raises the next street, I fold everytime.

I just felt that kid had spent waaaay too much time on the internet to be able to make any physical reads whatsoever.

Yeh, Brook is such a blatant actor, I don't see how that kid can miss it.

Re: Wpt 5/3 Pca

Who'd you want to win, Slagar? I couldn't pick one way or the other, I thought they were both goobers.

blow, sigh, cold call...check-raise next street = giant hand

I've seen Singer play multiple times. His play certainly doesn't dazzle me---there's nothing extraordinary about it, but he seems to stay out of trouble and play ABC poker for the most part. I would've rather seen him take the title I guess.

I also root against no-names who wear P* polos. I mean it would be so lame if everyone at the table wore these.

It's poker, not Nascar.

I agree, all of the advertisement is getting kind of ridiculous.

Re: Wpt 5/3 Pca

Did you see Mike Sexton's toupee tonight? It must have blown off his head a couple of times. It looked like it was being held on by a piece of black electrical tape, and was still almost falling off the back. I can't believe this guy goes on the air with that squirrel on his head every week. Why doesn't someone pull him aside and tell him? Did you ever see such brutal play as tonight. Some of the calls were inexplicable. The overacting and the way that kid pushed in so confidently when he had a good hand. How can Singer not have picked up on all that stuff. i'm flabergasted!

Re: Wpt 5/3 Pca

I'm sick of the repetitive suckouts and allins due to the high blinds at the WPT. Those guys get involved in one pot and they have to commit all their chips. This is the only area of the show I don't really like. Well, maybe some of Vince's quips.

Re: Wpt 5/3 Pca

Remember that show on VH1, where they put bubbles all over the screen with random trivia?

Can you imagine it for the WPT?

Vince just made the joke about the hole and the twigs for the 17th time this episode.

Not real hair.

This kid sold beanie babies to finance his online satellite.

The Budweiser they toast players with is actually water. The audience drinks all the beer up before the end of the match.
