Re: High Stakes Stacks

None of the Golden Nugget chips listed look like the ones on the show to me except for maybe the $500....The $100 chip on the show is black, in that pic they look blue, though exact in edgespots...and I thought the $1,000 chips on the show were a dark forest type green, and I dont recall seeing any silver/grey chips....I believe the $5,000 chip on the show is white also.

Not sure though...Maybe they have a special high roller set of chips, or they had new chips made for the show?

Re: High Stakes Stacks

I'm pretty sure that they are playing with standard Golden Nugget Denoms. The $100's are for sure black with the gold edge spots.

Re: High Stakes Stacks

I loved those forest green ones with the red and yellow spots. Very nice looking. I'm pretty sure those were $1,000's on the show and I think the white's were 5k. The 100's definitely looked like they had the pattern of that blue 100 chip, but they did look black on screen. Maybe they were a dark blue that just looks black under all the lights.

You mean silver edge spots?

So, then the picture posted above is not the current rack?....Or perhaps they have a secondary set as well, and that is in play?...Because that chip in the pic is blue, and on t.v they are definetly black...Also, I am positive there is a green high denom chip ($1,000), and a white denom chip in play ($5,000)

Perhaps they are using a secondary rack on t.v is my guess, or a certain high stakes poker set they use for the high roller room...That, or special chips made for the show, which is kind of doubtful imo-

Re: High Stakes Stacks

AFAICT $100 black(ish), $500 pink(ish) , $5000 white(ish) were the primary denoms. Also there were greenish ones. Oh, and the brix, of course.

Re: High Stakes Stacks

the hundreds in the picture look blue, but I assure you, they are really black. I stayed at the GN in November and they were black with those gold edge spots. They are the ones that HSP is using for sure.

Not real sure about the other denoms, but my guess is that if they are using the "floor" $100 - that all the chips are GN standard.

You mean silver right? lol, sorry....you just keep saying "gold".

Wish we could get some close-ups of the chips on the show, they look pretty damn nice....
