Now you can relive it 24hrs a day for free. I think Sammy's decision came down to this, I am 4 to 1 to make $180,00.
As a true gambler, as a true risk taker, it was never "I'm 4 to 1 to lose $180,000" it was 4 to 1 to make $180,000.
classic dialogue:
Farha: want two flops, 5 & 5?
Greenstein: no
(Kh 8h 6c on flop)
Farha: what are we gonna do now, wanna deal twice?
Greenstein: no
Farha: no? let's do it, let's go.
I think I could live with myself if I said 'yes' to the 2nd deal and then lost it anyways. |

but yea, Greenstein is just a goldfish in a tank full of parannas.. he doesnt look comfortable playing with those guys, almost feel bad for him.

Greenstein is one of the most success cash players around - don't judge him by his weird looks and eerie calm demeanor. I'm sure he feels right at home with the others. |

players on HSP are bluffing him, and he has even expressed frustartion looks on the show.

thanks - m |

Greenstein began playing High Stakes to make money, not to have fun.
re: Diamond----it's NLHE, $100,000 minimum buy-in and there's no cap. You could buy in for $5 million if you wanted to. $300/600 blinds with $100 ante
since it's all millionaires, they have straddles, dark bets, they'll run two flops...they play out the river when everyone has folded. it's like a home game but if your home game was all entrepeneurs, doctors and card sharks. |
