Chips: 3,046 | | | Heads-Up Tournament at Caesar's Palace The 2nd NBC National Heads-Up Tournament starts tomorrow. Here is the link to the bracket http://www.cardplayer.com/headsup2006/
Matchups that interest me the most:
Phil Hellmuth vs. Chip Reese; maybe the best tournament player ever versus the best cash game player ever
Mike Caro vs. Tony Guoga; one's loud, one's crazy
Ted Forrest vs. Eric Seidel; lots of bracelets in that match
Daniel Negreanu vs. Evelyn Ng; I think these two used to date, I know they are good friends
Match that interests me the least:
James McManus vs. Josh Lochner; the guy who got mad at that homeless guy vs. who? (I think he's probably a qualifier) |

Chips: 502 | | | Re: Heads-Up Tournament at Caesar's Palace I like some that you highlighted but I'm also interested in:
Harrington v. T. Brunson
Matasow v. Elezra
Arieh v. Williams (both very aggressive and good friends)
Chan v. Mortensen
Juanda v. D. Brunson
Lederer v. Cunningham
NBC could really make good money if the taped every single match and sold it on DVD. I hope I can avoid the results this year until the matches air. |

I would still be quite interested. The matches you pointed out are also really good matchups. I would love to see Johnny Chan versus Doyle Brunson, the two winningest WSOP bracelet guys one on one. |

Chips: 31 | | | Re: Heads-Up Tournament at Caesar's Palace Does anyone know if people "off the street" are able to go watch these matches, or is it a private event like the final (televised) table of the WPT?
I'd like to go over there for the first 2 rounds if us commoners are allowed (Caesars is only a 10 minute drive for me ).
Also, if anyone know what time of day this will take place? |
