WPT Battle of Champs2 chips??

Anyone watching this show tonite know what kind of chips those are? They sound like chipcos but look like clays, particularly the purple ones. They remind me of ASMs.

I missed it, but caught the tail end (heads up)....They looked like definite chipco's to me, but I am by far any kind of authority, so I really have no idea.

Was this a brand new episode?....I dont believe I've seen that one...wait, is the second running on right now?...lol, whoops

Yup its a brand new one. Tournament of season 2 (2005) champions. I won't give it away.

Did you see the lavender or purple ones though? The edgespots look like ASM 312s.

Geez are we chipgeeks or what?

It actually looked as though the purples were clay and the other were chipcos. Seems strange but it sure did look that way.

Same here...I ran to the t.v after viewing this post and checked, definetly looked that way.

Those new bubble cameras on the felt are no good...I dunno, I just dont like them personally. New blonde co-host is a hottie tho

Would have to agree with Pfunk on the bubble cams...they look strange and the shots from them were not an improvement on what they could already do with existing cameras. That's the first time I saw those used. Have they been used before?

They were used on the new All girl episode they recently played (I forget the technical name of this event, but it was all females) and I agree its kind of lame...They rarely use them for shots, and when they do its like, who cares....

I agree, they could get practically the same shot without them, but then again perhaps this alleviates a cameraman having to come around over peoples shoulders every so often like they sometimes do.....who knows.

As I watched last night I couldn't tell if I had seen it before until the end, the new chick tipped me off as well. I had though the chips were clay when I saw the purple ones? (colorblind), then the green? chips looked like either chipcos or bud jones, i don't remember hearing them at all. I was posting some stupid crap and wasn't paying very close attention. What was the prize? Was it an entry into another with a small bit of cash? I looked and saw a tiny pile of money, but missed the whole money intro.
