Do any other Canadians plan on watching the back to back episodes on tonight? Could be pretty cool, not sure if it will be better than the CPT, it's pretty well done.
watched parts of it did you see that guy hit the diamond flush on the flop.
Then the the other guy hits flush on river with the ace high , but the other diamond gives the other guy str8 flush.
So str8 flush guy doubled up on the other guys all in call.

str8 flush was like 5 6 7 8 9 d i think
All i have to say is that it was some of the worst telivised poker ive ever seen... heres a few of my grievances:

- "behind the scenes" c'mon ppl taking their mic's off at the table? not cool

- hands and % took up half the damn screen!

- East and West qualifiers?...what happened to Central?
overall I thought it was a poorly done production and that sportsnet's CPT is 10x better than the degree poker challange can ever be.
Too bad Vince Sessa had to blow up with that J9 or whatever he had... he is ieasily the best player of the 18 we saw tonight.[/list]

LOL! You hit it right on! Michael Landsberg is a total clueless joke... his commentary was completely useless... he didn't know what was going on!
I had to laugh when it was heads up and the younger guy goes all in with the hammer and pulls through on the river by catching a 2.
LOL! Landsburg is a total twit. They were saying this tourny is the largest freeroll held in Canada. Where do I sign up?
That straight flush was pretty sweet. Too bad for the guy going all in with the nut flush though.
