What card capper for Las Vegas and the Sin City Showdown

I'm struggling with this one and wondering what others are doing. I'm packing now for departure for Las Vegas and wondering which card capper to bring. Since there's not an official SCS card capper being made for this event it's a question that for me at least is important. I like to have something personal in every tournament and that something is a card capper. Call me a dork, but that's my thing.

How 'bout others who are going or even others who aren't going to the SCS, but have a point of view. Is anybody else planning to bring a special card capper to the event?

I've thought about one of the Winner Club Paulson oversized chips or possibly my personal chip or even one of my custom chips. I've also thought about some of my collectibles. Even the card cappers from the past two ChipTalk events in Chicago and Atlanta are options.

I've got some nice autographed chips to by Barry Greenstein, Kenna James, Kathy Liebert and Men the Master.

Other options are the standard Bullets, Cowboys, etc. card cappers that you see so frequently as well as the cat house tokens that GGS sells.

What to do? Ideas please. I'm determined to only bring one as I'm packing really light for the event. ;>

Good question,

I'm probably bringing a few of my Avalons, plus a bunch of the older collectibles in airtites that I've got, as depending on my mood, and superstition which one I want to use changes frequently.

Jamby, you should bring a $500 Condado. I always connect this chip to you. It would be very fitting IMO.

I envy you all going to the SCS....

Excellent suggestion. Those puppies are so valuable though, that I'd have to be super careful. Not sure if I'm up for that, but it's definitely worth considering.

That's me too - just superstitious enough to make it worth careful consideration. Avalons are a great idea for you.

I always use a 4 Spot $100 Vineyard. It was a present by TechnoGuru, and actually my first Paulson. It always reminds me of good Karma. It has a high personal value... maybe you have a chip that has a very special story for you?

Not important what chip it is. But what the chips is for you...

Hope that made any sense...

How about your 49mm black 8V WC 50,000! Your cards are going nowhere under that thing!

LOL - you're right...you'd need one of those devices that beeps when the chip is separated from you by more than a few feet

I'd go with one of your customs then...they're personal and a conversation piece. Maybe pick a few faves from each of your 3 sets!

I would definitely choose one of your customs - although even there you have a lot to choose from! I like your ceramics, as it is also a good conversation starter (people always want to know about your dogs!) although I really love your Bear Den chips (especially the NCV).

If it was me, I would not use expensive chip or one that cannot be easily replaced. I have a habit of leaving it behind and losing it.
