Shall I buy a Pro Edition Poker Genie?

If I used a laptop I would download turnament director. Half the cost of the genie and way better.

I have a Genie from the Group Buy, and it's only been out of the box to "check it out" never even been plugged in.

I use a laptop and Poker Tournament Manager.

Now if I could plug the Genie into a USB cable and program it....

bingo... except i am targeting a couple UMPCs... 2 samsung Q1s that can attach to projectors and have a touchscreen interface.

i can do that, but i dont use a poker genie & prefer to do it wirelessly.

what i a semi working on is a wireless (bluetooth/802.x) rss feed from a laptop that could configure dedicated systems on the fly & update cell phones with the new info! you could scroll blinds and time + extra info? 802.x was a piece of cake. cellphones have proved a little more troubling... but i am thinking w/ budget

heck ive got 5 different usb bluetooth adapters in my left pocket - LOL - for real!!
