I did that too... At my tourney's you start with 50 chips... I had you pick a card and then told you where to sit... Then you'd have to wait for someone else at your table to get seated so I could issue you both chips (2 x 50 starting stack = 1 rack of chips) -- in the winter, 1 table is upstairs and 1 in downstairs.
Now, you buyin and pick a stack *and* get your seat assignment all at once. Because the bottles hold 35 chips, you get two...the second bottle has the high denom chips and all are the same. But it also gives you some extra room in case you have to move tables mid-tourney and are in the black a bit... Once I get my new chips ready, you'll only get one bottle and it'll be a snap.
