What about this table?

Found this 82x40x30 inch table for about $240 including shipping at www.rounders.se - a swedish online poker shop. Does anyone know if it is any good or if it's crappy? I think these pictures are from the factory:

Well one observation, taking out 1000 staples will make it quite a challenge to change the felt if you need to ever.

For that price, it seem to be a good deal.

I believe that is the black vinyl rail? Maybe you can lift the rail off. The felt is probably stapled around the edge under the rail?

Well, I've never seen it in person but I guess that metal frame can't be a bad thing? I've heard that some of the other cheaper tables like this one bends when people put their weight down on it.

Looks like the rail fabric is stapled to the bottom of the table. Looks ok for US$240, but you could make a better one for $240 in materials.

The legs are nice, but regular folding legs work fine if you use decent plywood.

I suppose by that same argument, you shouldn't have to worry about the rail ever just "falling off" on its own.

It appears to be pretty well-built, it looks nice and professional, and can obviously be stored when not in use. The price seems very reasonable, too. Is the green felt the only option, or can it be had in other colors/fabrics (e.g. speedcloth)?

a rail that fits righ t won't fall off on it's own. next time you're at the casino, try to lift the rail off an unused table. good chance it comes right up.

The frame looks like it would be a VERY good thing. The tables that bend and buckle when significant weight is placed on them probably have two independent sets of legs, instead of a one-piece frame like this table. Those cheaper tables bend because the table substrate (plywood, MDF, or whatever) is flexing under the weight. I don't think this table would show any flexion under those same conditions.

Not bad price. The only thing I don't like is the flat padded rail. I would rather have a more rounded rail with additional foam padding, more like what you see in casinos. But hey, some people actually like a more flat rail anyways, to each his own.

Fetishgirl,

What happened to Masino Poker Table? I inquired about a table and they said it would cost more to ship than the actual cost of the table. Those tables are sweet.
