That looks nice. I worry that those folding legs will be pretty wobbly.
$99 shipping seems kinda steep.

Have you checked around locally (or in Modesto or Stockton)? Places like SportMart often have sales on some pretty decent tables for around the same price (if you factor in the shipping cost).
As for the one that you linked to, I do know of a local retailer who used to carry those (he stopped because he had to send most of them back on his own nickel.) Seems that some of the tables were falling apart as they came out of the box, and the ones that weren't falling apart had manufacturing flaws that were way too severe to overlook. For $250, you might even look in some furniture stores for lower end octagonal game tables.
Yeah, I thought about doing that too. I actually work in the Bay Area (Livermore) so there are plenty of options for me to look for local stuff. My wife's cousins actually own Turlock's premiere furniture store so that's an option too. (A heavily discounted option too )
BUT, I decided to scrap this whole idea of buying something. I will expand further in another post coming soon to a forum near you... Actually, the post is up now, so go read about it there.

I just ordered one from him this week (octagon with cup holders) and expect it next week. Spoke to him in email and on the phone and he seems like a great guy. Reasonable shipping too for DHL delivery. Can't wait to get it!
