LED Lights

Looking to to get Led lights for my poker table. Still a little confused on the differences when looking on Ebay

Can anyone post what exact model and brands they have.

Here are 2 links I have found and the prices vary

What are the main differences here.

Dream color RGB 5M 5050 Flash LED Strip Light 94change | eBay

5050 RGB 5M 300 leds LED strips flexible tape multicolor lights waterproof lamp | eBay

Re: LED Lights

i don't really see any difference between the two, other than the price and one looks like it has a fancier controller and remote. i've only bought single color led strips before so i can't say which ones are better since those are RGB strips

Re: LED Lights

I went with simple rope lights from Home Depot for 13 bucks. they were perfect length at 18 feet and they dont get too hot nor are are they too bright. downside is no colour changing hehe

I was going to go LED route but thought I didnt want to pay any more than 13 bucks for something thats a pure novelty in my table and not really needed.

Re: LED Lights

You've got to careful when ordering these and make sure everything you need is included.

This one comes with the LED strip, controller, infrared receiver, but no plug or power adapter to power the unit (LEDs run on DC, you need the AC adapter to be able to plug it into your wall outlet: The other one you link to doesn't specify the number of LEDs per meter or total number of LEDs (or if they do I couldn't find it). These LED strips typically come with either 150 or 300 LEDs (30 or 60 LEDs per meter). The more LEDs, obviously, the more expensive it is. I paid about $80 for a 5 meter, 300 LED strip with controller/reciever/power supply about a year ago, but they've come down in price a little since then. The second vender here also only have 97% approval rating - there are lots of similar vendors with better ratings. You want something like this, check out the description, everything should be included:

New 12V 5M 5050 RGB 300 SMD LED Light Strip + 24Key IR Remote + Power Supply | eBay

Re: LED Lights

I was doing research on the LED displays when I was doing my basement for use to scroll sports scores and I know they have ones that have Ethernet adapters and will accept RSS feeds.

Re: LED Lights

Keep in mind how many lights you want per foot/meter.

I ordered the 30 lights/meter, 5 meters long for 30 euros including remote and power-supply.
