Thanks to his tips and the site, I built my first table a few months ago. I need to take an updated picture though. I have since installed folding table legs on it. I am waiting to move into my new house where I will have room to build my newer race-track style table.
If scott were a woman.... anyway. I've been on scott's site for a little while now and owe a lot to people like him for giving people like us an outlet to experiment and learn about the only thing important.... having an excuse not to work around the house!
This is just amazing. I know it's gonna be a while before I'm able to get around to building my own table, but the sheer number of resources here is astonishing.
Does Scott or anyone have thoughts regarding "transformer" poker tables. I am looking for a larger round one than the usual 48" offering (either 60" or 66") to REALLY fit 8 players or dinning guests around.
Another thing i have never seen anywhere is the usual 84" by 42" oval table that has a dining table top to it.
I just don't have the space to devote a room to poker and dining (or should i say i need to accommodate my wife's desire to have dinner parties in what i like to think of as the poker room!) .
Any thoughts, pm's, posts or emails are welcome.
If you have purchased any type of combo table, and like it or hate it i would love to know.
I hope i won't violate any etiquette by posting here as well as starting a new thread on the subject
