Chips: 49 | | | If I build one, I'll lose fingers. Yep. I have a special gift. I can inadvertently destroy any equipment and have inflicted greivous harm on myself and onlookers.
So instead, I'd just like to buy a sturdy (won't sag in the middle) 10 man oval with folding legs. Racetrack or not, is not a big concern, but oversize cupholders might be nice.
Budget? Why yes...
Any suggestions? |

Any suggestions? | Build only if:
1. You have tools
2. If you have tools you must know what to build
3. Self satisfaction
4. Save some money too
Buy only if:
1. You don't own any tools
2. You could careless where it cames from
3. You don't have time
4. You have a budget
note: most of all buy it if you think you will destroy any tools Why? Because the tools will cost you as much as the damn table. Got it!
You can buy one for $600 bucks but don't as me how much for shipping. Another solution is to find out the builder near you. Scott Keen forum should do the trick.
Good luck
Below is basic....$600 bucks I think |

Chips: 858 | | | Re: If I build one, I'll lose fingers. I would be happy to do one for you, but as mentioned above the shipping isn't going to be cheap. Freight for a 10 man table runs around $200 the last I checked. That could be more now since gas prices continue to rise.
Your best bet, if you don't want to build it yourself, would be to find someone close to you that will. Or a friend who has the tools and know how to help you build it.

Chips: 175 | | | Re: If I build one, I'll lose fingers. Check your local craigslist. People are getting rid of 10 man ovals all the time that were "custom" built for someone. They will be a better table than what you'd pay for at a sporting good store. |

Chips: 2,290 | | | Re: If I build one, I'll lose fingers. thepokertablecompany.com built mine and shipped to NC for $415.00. Unsuited felt, whisper vinyl 84" table. The legs are a little narrow so it will rock a bit if someone leans real hard on one side with no one on the other side. Their communication was not very good after the initial order, and they will take alot longer than they say on their website to actually ship your table. But all in all, I am very pleased with the quality/build. Here sre some pics: Remodeled Revolution Room!!!

Even if you are a total spaz you could do the following - get a neoprane Chiptalk topper on the advertisement banner thing - like $25. Drop it on a 4x8 and take a pencil and trace it. Get a little power saw and cut around the line and gently sand it down. Glue down your topper and screw in some folding legs from Home Depot.
You have a great table for <$100. Damn, it's such a good idea, I think I'm going to run out and try it.
Otherwise, just go to ****'s and buy one off the floor - you can get em for around $130. |

Excuse his mouth, he meant to say "just go to Richard's".

But you've lost me. What's Richard's? |
