| Poker Tables with Table Top Covers Okay guys, first, I want to state that I love my wife, and here's why.
We plan on moving in the next 3 years to a larger house with a game room, something I have been planning for the last five years. We have the same dining room set that we've had since we've been married (12 years). The set is nice and we'll get back what we paid for it (bought it at auction). Frankly, we're tired of it and are selling it.
We want to get a nice, bigger set, however, none will fit in our current dining room, since it is kind of enclosed. Our options are either to leave the room bare, or get a cheap set to make due, which will lose value. Being the brilliant guy I am, I suggested getting a nice Texas Hold 'em table with a nice table top cover that will serve as a dining room table when not in use. My argument was that I am going to get a nice poker table anyways, so why not do it now, that way the money won't be wasted on a cheap set, she'll still have a nice dining room table, and we will be ready to go for the new house. She agreed, now it's shopping time.
I am looking for input to see what others have done, or if anyone has any experience, and am looking for links. I have already found some links, but am looking for as much input as possible. Quality is key here, so any and all links are welcome, however, I would like to keep it under $6,000. The base needs to look dining roomish, so the brass pedalstal looks are out.
Thanks in advance. |
