First time, you shouldn't try for the light. Not to say you could do it.

With that you would really have yourself a PAD (Poker After Dark) table... |

Chips: 13 | | | Re: Makeing a raised rail table....... just picked up the cloth from Jo-Anns. Its a polyester/spandex blend. In my opinion, it is very nice. Cards glide with ease and it wont pill. Feels very soft to the touch and looks casino quality......On sale for $7.49 a yard, cant beat that.. deceided on a burgandy/red color... |

I'm gonna hazard a guess that you're going to be very pleased with the final product.
As you've seen already, even if the playsurface ply is less than perfect, the attachment to the rail will help true it up a bit. And even though I know you're not looking to spend an arm and a leg on this project (and since you got the first batch of ply for free anyway), if you attach a sub-base it'll help striaghten things out further.
You might simply be 40 or so dollars away from a perfectly straight and true playsurface. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
