Had a great Turkey Day! Well almost. It's been a while since I've posted any pics of tables I've made so here's one that I'm making for myself. This is a work in progress so I'll keep you guys updated.

It's going to be a flip top 60" round. Nothing like pete's or the mcjigg's but my wife likes it so far. hopefully it'll turn out great after it's stained. legs were put together with a 45 degree cut with 3/4" oak ply on the sides and 3/4" birch ply on the inside and outside. the rest of the table will be birch ply.

You’re off to a great start, but I have a question.
How are you going to cover a 60” surface? Will this be a race-track or maybe a really wide rail?

What's up with all those guys at Scott's. It was stupid to bring that whole subject up in the first place. Don't those guys have anything better to do with their time?? Like look for decent chips?!
