I would think that the padded rail is still coming. I noticed the T-nuts that hold down the rail are exposed.
How much do these suckers weigh? It looks like you're using 3/4" ply, is that correct?
When making your cuts, do you use a Router with Jig Templates or do you freehand with a jigsaw and then go back with a router to clean/round the edges?

PS...Very nice craftsmanship...and a cute kid too. I am a father of an only daughter, so I can tell she's already got you wrapped! I there with ya...
I use 2 sheets of 3/4 cabinet grade oak ply. I make all my cuts with a router and made a router compass to cut the arcs and have a 100'' metal straight guide to cut the straight cuts. Nothing is done freehand except cutting out the holes for the cupholders. That is what makes the cuts so perfect. As far as weight...not sure. With the pedestal bases on them I would say I wouldn't want to lift them. I will actually deliver the tables and attach the pedestals where they will sit.
P.S. My daughter has me wrapped so tight. She is only 17 mo. and she knows she has her daddy around her little finger.

That is as it should be. She's beautiful. Just wait until the boys start coming around. It'll drive you crazy. Trust me. I have a 16 year old daughter.
Those tables are looking pretty sweet! Even though I had pretty much decided on the materials I was going to use, I ordered the sample sets from YAT anyway primarily because if any of my friends decided to ask me to build a table for them after seeing mine, I wanted to have the stuff on hand to facilitate their material selection. However, after building my table, that is not an activity I would want to repeat too soon or very often. I'm not in good enough shape for back breaking labor on a regular basis. My hat's off to you guys that can crank out multiple tables for a paying customers.
