In starting our new business, one of the items we budgeted for was to have two custom poker tables built with full color custom graphics.

I was originally quoted $140 per felt for the graphics, with me providing them as "ready to print" per their specs.

Well I finally got the starting capitol for the business together and contacted the dye-sub printer and he came back to me with a "new pricing" of $210 per felt, a 50% price increase.

Has anyone here had a full custom printed table felt created, if so, who did you use and what was the cost, and were you happy?

Because at this price, the felt is going to cost almost as much as the tables themselves, and I'm quite bummed, hoping to find a better deal, or referral.

If you are good with the graphics part you can airbrush it on.

This is true, but a LOT of work if you know airbrushing, and it has a margin for error. Putting a logo on a table is one thing, but I want a full custom table graphic, with bet line, and a pattern across the whole table.

I guess I'll show it when they are finished.

The real casinos use "dye sublimation" printing, where the material/felt starts off white, and the inks and colors are literally bonded to the felt from a digitally printed sheet. This way there is no "raised paint" or possibility of chipping, or catching cards on the art when they slide.

I sent lonestar an e-mail, thanks 2hotty for the link. I'll keep everyone posted to what they say, and how it goes. They sound just like what I was looking for.
