Chips: 14,331 | | | RoadstterBot After a lot of debate I've decided to develop my own poker bot.
After I get the rough design done I'll know how long it will take to get to a version 1.0 release. I will first design a playable bot for limit holdem cash games from head's up to full table. I should have a beta around Christmastime and an early alpha in a couple months.
I'll update this thread as things go along.

Chips: 14,331 | | | I never said I was planning to use it on an online site.
This year during the WSOP there was a bot competition, first prize was about $100k. That would suit me just fine.

When I was at the WSOP, I didn't see any bots -- except for maybe The Grinder, but he's technically just a "Machine," not a "bot". |

Chips: 111 | | | The bot contest was not part of the WSOP but was held in Vegas at the same time. While bots cannot match a human player yet, I have the feeling that it will in the future aka like chess. I hope not or that the online operators will have to find a way to detect and ban them or it will ruin the online game. |
