Rookies are usually loose passives and that's the way to make some cash. Like someone else said, they'll pay off just about anything always chasing that 2 outer. It does suck when they catch the miracle card, but if you've done your job the rest of the game, that hit shouldn't cripple you.
One thing I've noticed about LPs as I've dialed up my aggressiveness is that they don't give you any information. What I mean is, they can be sitting on top set, but will call your probe bets all the way down never raising or reraising. Even when you're beat, you can usually get away cheaper than you would against a tougher player.
I can stand loosing a hand from a good player, making a good play, using good cards. I absolutely hate it when I get beat by a bad palyer, making bad moves, using bad cards.
I hear you on this point....it makes me nuts, as well. That's why I rarely play with rookies or people who just don't know the game. You can get killed by making the correct play.
I've noticed this happening to me constantly. What makes it REALLY painfull is that it's always someone different sucking out on you. Dialling up aggresiveness doesn't seem to help either, as noted by this comment to my push pre-flop: "I pretty much have to call with THAT much money in the pot." .....W.T.F.???
