Poker Strategy problem

OK, I love reading poker strategy questions posted on here, I love that it gets broke down step by step, and gives me some insight on how real poker players think. But I have a problem....
Every poker strategy question always ends the same way
We never read about a hand that plays out where the hero wins after a carefully thought out read / strategy ~ so as I'm reading through a strategy question and answer thread, in the back of my mind, I already "know" how the hand is going to go. Which presents another problem, as I'm reading the answers, I start taking into account that the person answering, being smarter than your average joe, also already knows the end result of the hand. Which then makes me wonder, are they giving good strategy based on what they "know" by reading the thread, or are they basing their answers on "knowing" how the hand ended
Anyone see my problem?

It's probably because people aren't seeking feedback or validation on hands where they played correctly and won. I've posted here about hands that I thought I played incorrectly but still won, and hands where I've liked the plays I made but ended up losing - I think we tend to post these because they involve a dichotomy of sorts that provides contradicting feedback (wha? I can play good and lose? Cmon, no way).

i completely agree, doug. there's a great deal of meta game in these sorts of threads. we parse the language of the original poster, trying to figure out his rationalizations and foreshadowings. it's silly, isn't it?

Poker is very simple. If you see every hand to showdown, you will win every hand you're supposed to and can never be bluffed.

If your opponent bets he's trying to bluff you, all bets are bluffs, you should raise, no way he can call..........oh crap, he just called. I guess he did have it. Alright, but like, 9 times out of 10 he doesn't have it, that's a mathematical fact. Math doesn't lie.

For the most case the result of the hand doesn't matter. Playing the hand correctly with the information you have is all you can really do.

ie..say the board is 3 7 J and you have pockets 7's. You can ask how to play this hand and correctly get villian all in on the flop when he holds AJ but what if the turn and river are J 3. Well you lose the hand to a bigger full house but that still doesnt change the fact you got your money while wayy ahead of the villain and you shouldn't change how you played it.

You can never really look at the results of a hand to determine if you played it correctly.

Lets say you have nut flush draw on flop. Villian shoves and gives you 6 to 1 odds to call. IF you call and miss the flush it still doesnt mean you weren't correct calling. Sometimes knowing the outcome may make you rethink the hand in most cases thats not the correct thing to do.

I try to post hands where I had a hard decision to make, not ones where the results were unfortunate (BBV hands) or ones where Hero is stacking a mountain of chips (Brag). If the proper course of play is obvious, then the thread likely shouldn't be posted (unless the original poster didn't see it as obvious - sometimes a posted hand is a learning opportunity for the OP.)

One reasonable test for a thread is a diversity of opinions about what to do. Even if I might think the proper play is a trivial problem, the fact there is a debate means the thread's problem was meaningful.

I do agree with the original post - often threads are BBV / whines / brags where we don't have much meat to pick off the bones. However I try to give the OP the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe they really did get lost playing what seems like a simple hand.

Like they say, "there is more than one way to play winning poker". This is true, but I should also add there are more than a million ways to play losing poker! Even the best strategies can be derailed by bad luck. We've all sucked out, or been sucked out on at sometime at the tables. All one can do is play to the best of their ability and hope for the best.
