Or do you fold, leave yourself with an M of 5, and try to shove in one of the next 10-15 hands, where you could get it in better or worse?
I think I would have called with 66. Gamboooool it up weeeeee!!!! But I dont think folding is terrible either. |

This is exactly what I was thinking. I took about 3 minutes to make my decision. As BigKyle mentioned, I was only dominating 55,44,33,22 and was at best flipping against overcards. In trhe end, I decided that folding was the best option. |

(But I'm not folding, ldo) |

Or am I just a crazy loon? |

Action????? | shove. Folding is way too weak. Raising small is horrible (learn from my mistake please - this led to my demise in 06) I was UTG, red AQ, with about 10.5k at 400/800 100 ante i think. I hadn't played scared all day but for some reason I got it in my head that I didn't want to get busted. So I raised to 3k hoping to take down blinds (last round i had AA UTG and no one called), nutter calls in late position and flop comes 689 all spades. You could probably read it on my face that I hated that flop. I check, he bets, I fold. He shows 45 of clubs
You need chips, picking up blinds is great. Don't outhink yourself. You have one move here.
as for the 66 hand, that is precisely why I advocate raising smaller. You pretty much pot committed yourself getting 2:1. Folding isn't completely horrible at this point. If you think you're crushed, let it go. But generally if you're going to pot commit yourself, you might as well call with the odds you're getting.

I agree with the earlier posts about committing too many chips with the 66 unless you're ready to call an all-in behind you. In your previous hand, you're either going to get a fold, or all-in bet behind you. Based on their stack sizes, they are pot committed on a call, so they are better off just going all-in.
At this point AQ isn't the best of hands, but it's strong enough to go all-in. |

You are right at the 10BB - and anties are in play. Witrh any luck, the BB has AJ and thinks you are tilting.
No other real action -
limp? - why, your hand is not strong enough to be tricky, and you really do not have the stack size to try this anyway
Raise 30% of your stack? - why give anyone ater you reason to think that you will fold to a reraise again.
Fold? - WEAK
ship it in and hope for the best (but try not to look the part, lol) |

I will also chime in with a "shove" for the AQ hand
