Flopped Straight at the Wynn. WWYD?

I'm playing LAG and raising from position and sweeping blinds up.

I'm in the cut-off and I look down to see 89c and I raise to $12 with four limpers in front of me. I get one caller from a pretty bad player to my immediate right.

He has been bleeding chips since he sat down and he is giving out strategy like the nutty professor. Hes a nice guy and I like him, but he's really backwards on a lot of stuff and plays hands to far.

Hes got about $150 or so and I've got $225 or so.

Flop 567 with two spades.

I bet out $20, he calls.

Turn is a Th.

I bet $45, he calls

River is a Qs, he shoves for $74

Let me hear what you think...

Uh, instacall? If he's got spades, which I doubt, good for him. You've got so much invested, that I think it's a pretty easy call.

I'm guessing he was playing a flopped set. Poorly.

Re: Flopped Straight at the Wynn. WWYD?

I wanted to make my reply before I read the others just to see where my thinking compares to others.

Preflop - the $12 bet is fine, I might limp sometimes joping to flop the joint.

Flop - personally, I woulr have bet more here with 2 to a suit out there. I would at least bet the pot if not slightly overbet the pot and pray the 3rd suit dont fall!

Turn - PUSH! I already gave the possible flush draw one card, I dont want to give another one and get stacked. I would rather loose a small amount of value bet that my whole stack.

How do you not call?

BTW I say he has a flush. Bad players love draws.

Tell me about it.

Unfortunately I didn't have a read on this guy like I did the last time we played at the Wynn. Do you remember that hand?

This makes me think he might have it as well. From experience, most of the players in the 1/3 game at the Wynn were not poker players.

Re: Flopped Straight at the Wynn. WWYD?

I would vote for the flush as well - or the worst possible way to play QQ
