For the record AQo is one of two personal nemesis hands. If I ran PT I am confident it would show that I lose a lot with those hole cards

Re: Tough decision here - How aggressive do you get??

Yup, toss it and look for a better opportunity. Chip leader still gets another shot to play after you. Raising UTG he probably has a little something, and short stack has made her stand. If you raise all-in you don't have enough chips to push out UTG, and you're giving him better odds to call.

You're looking for a spot to push with first-in vigorish, to double up or win the blinds. Short stack pushed even after a raise so she's probably got better than ATC. So here you are probably less than 50% to win against 2 others.

Or play here (as I suspect you did?) and take your chances. If UTG had nothing and folds, you could be dominating. That's gambling ... coin flips can go either way.

Re: Tough decision here - How aggressive do you get??

Fold! You're in early position with a drawing hand, and at best a coin flip situation. I would only call if I was short stacked and wanted to gamble for a double up

Agreed - instamuck - you don't want to be calling with AQ in that situation.

Re: Tough decision here - How aggressive do you get??

my guess, with hands in order (me, marsha, mike):

Text results appended to pokerstove.txt

132,052,957,344 games 358.235 secs 368,621,037 games/sec

Board:
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 27.681% 25.88% 01.80% 34174538340 2379293842.00 { 77+, A7s+, K9s+, QTs+, JTs, ATo+, KTo+, QJo }
Hand 1: 44.138% 42.31% 01.83% 55871724480 2413403290.00 { 88+, ATs+, KQs, AKo }
Hand 2: 28.181% 25.82% 02.36% 34091745912 3122251480.00 { AQo }

that said, i'd probably fold most of my hands there (maybe even AK/JJ?). if that's true, then i'm folding like 90% of the time. when i fold:
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 59.963% 57.48% 02.48% 696850272 30083886.00 { 88+, ATs+, KQs, AKo }
Hand 1: 40.037% 37.56% 02.48% 455293188 30083886.00 { AQo }

40% but with dead money in the pot and not risking your stack

when i call (10% of the time):
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 60.311% 59.65% 00.66% 5543644848 61496052.00 { QQ+ }
Hand 1: 23.415% 22.51% 00.90% 2092180968 83927880.00 { 88+, ATs+, KQs, AKo }
Hand 2: 16.274% 15.55% 00.73% 1445013804 67448568.00 { AQo }

so, i dunno. the fact that we're bubbly indicates a fold i think.

Even I can find a fold here. But certainly not with JJ or AK.

Re: Tough decision here - How aggressive do you get??

jojo's UTG raise and marsha's All-in re-raise leads me to believe you're either dominated or racing.

Fold.

Just my take on it.
