Chips: 1,579 | | | Anyone up for a session review? My "downswing" at 25NL continues unabated. Last night I lost another $40 in 210
hands. Anyone up for a session review? We swap hand histories from a session
(about 200 hands) and review each other's play.
Here's a teaser:

You bet out $3 at a $4 or so pot, got raised and re-raised - and folded 2 pair, you got the right info off that bet. Maybe I'm way off, but that seems like a very solid play. And the CO player with A-10 has got to call the last $2.65 even though it screams he's beat by a set.

Matthew | I'll agree with the good lay down.
Without seeing the end result, I thought you were beat with someone having AT but I honestly didn't put anyone on a set of 2's or Tens.

That said, laying down this hand seems to be pretty solid play considering the results of what the other guy showed. |

I wouldn't say that. I've seen and and also have limped in with small pairs hoping to hit a set.
With this hand though, I'm not putting anyone on a set of 2's. With JoeRijo having a deuce and a deuce hitting the flop, I think I would have lost some money with this hand.

I'm beginning to wonder if I should move up. How much more could I lose?

MP didn't respect your pre flop raise because you were the BB and he assumed you were trying to steal so he was defending his pre flop limp with 52
presumably his C-bet and subsuquent raises were stupidty thinking you were simply trying to bluff him off a hand when he paired his 5 - again
He luckboxed the 2 and there is nothing more to say about it. Your play and read was spot on the entire hand.
