Best Hold 'em Training Video/DVD??

I hope this is the appropriate forum for this thread.

I have recently become a fan of Video training and have been using videos to learn more about graphic design applications. They have proven to be helpful, so I figure why not use the same philosophy to improve my poker playing. Currently I only play low stakes Hold 'em online and at the occasional home game.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks

the DVDs that you can buy (like Helmuths) are for the most part all crap. But getting a subscriptino to cardrunners, deucescracked, or stoxpoker can do wonders for your game. Each site has hundreds of videos made by professional players showing you exactly how they play their hands live. They give thorough analysis and excellent strategy advice. I'm a member of two of the above three, but I can guarantee that all are worth their cost.

They are however a little pricey for casual players, but if you become a member I think you can easily recoup your investment in a short period.

Re: Best Hold 'em Training Video/DVD??

I'm having a hard time deciphering the price at cardrunners.

Is it $99.99 sign up fee and $27.99/month?

Re: Best Hold 'em Training Video/DVD??

cardrunners is great. CTS, Greenplastic, sbrugby all are great players/ teachers. Deucescracked is currently running a 7day free trial, so I would jump on that first.
Stox is good if you're a math guy. They've got some good calc stuff, and Matros.

Yeah... I Think. couldn't find much info though.

Thanks Suicide, Jim & Poboy for the heads up. (gotta jump on that free trial)
honestly I don't play enuff real money games to justify the investment (yet). In fact I am at a point where I think am ready to start playing for doe more often and wanted a cheap head start. But the high recommendations here tell me I must consider it. And I will. Is it a bad Idea to start off with the budget acct at cardrunners and then upgrade?

Re: Best Hold 'em Training Video/DVD??

you can get a year at stox through a pso promo. I was signed up for it, then I bailed out and opted for the Nevada Jacks chips instead.
