I think I made the right play here, but let's see what the gencon is...
30 player tourney, down to 19. Very aggressive blinds scehdule (12 minutes).
Blinds are 300/600 and you guess they're going up in a hand or two (to 400/800). You have 3400 which is probably just below average. You're UTG and look down to   .

My hunch is that FL70 folded per concensus opinion, but the flop was something like 9d 10d Jd or 8 8 7. Quote:

Yeah, that's poker though. It's still a fold in that position.
Who'd a thunk about the Illini this year huh? 8-3 with big wins over Wisconsin, Penn State and now Ohio. Since my Irish suck so bad this season, it's nice to have the Illini to root for. Quote:

It is the correct play but when you see flops like that it makes you want to play bad card out of position.
No doubt on the Illini... Very impressive season thus far. Yeah and the Irish we wont even talk about. Very very disappointing season. |

You know what though? When you see folks play those bad cards out of position and then hit, you know something about them that is invaluable information for future hands. That's just giving away information that you're willing to play weak cards OOP. Who cares if they hit one out of 100 times? Still a bad play and shows weakness.
As for the Irish, they're hard to love right now. I still do though. Quote:
