Just wanted to know your though on the subjust Praying. When I mean praying I mean like what Jerry Yang did in 2007 WSOP.
My though is I am with Kenny Tran, you tell Jerry Yang baby. leave that stuff at home. This is not a church.... |

Personally, I don't understand praying in competition. I would expand this to say that I don't understand when athletes credit their god for their performance. I know that doing so is not intended to be insensitive, but at the very least it seems in bad taste. All kinds of very sad, difficult things happen to good people--illness, hardship, disaster, crisis--for which it would seem there was no divine intervention to prevent the bad things from happening. It's always bothered me when people pray over petty things, or suggest that god intervenes in sports competition. It just seems narrow minded and not very well thought-out. I guess it also seems narcissistic and priviledged. |

I think they just give me one more out. If I host the guy with the dirty underwear and the naked dancer has to leave though.
In general I do sort of believe in prayers though. |

if you think that's going to help you hit your one outer knock yourself out.

Not if said God is as powerful as that individual believes. He can probably multi-task.
