As for the call, if you put her on Aces and knew what you needed to hit, I think it's a bad call. If you had some kind of multiple draw it would be better.

If you put here on AA, then you aren't getting the right price to call at a little worse than 2-1 (going to cost you $57 to win about a $100 pot). You are going to suckout about 33% of the time, so it is close. If you could give her a range that included two pair hands, as well as combo pair and draw hands then you could rationalize a call.
I think your hand is a limp preflop, and wants to play a small pot as a non-nut set (ie I wouldn't bet the flop with bottom set), and wait until you hit your flush to really get some $$$ in there. |

The turn adds another 3 outs for the FH draw for her...I think you're priced out, you've pretty much just have ot look at it as gong all in on a flush draw...not getting the right price for that and you still could be dead if the board pairs even if you do catch.
You've got to call $57 to win $101... unless you think the chance she only has AQ and not pocket aces is good then there's no way to make that call. If you are certain she's got Aces, fold, youve only put in $18.

Chips: 1,818 | | | Re: 1/2NL Hi Omaha hand i had I made the preflop raise because it was a limp fest and I was tired of it. I wanted to see if I could get some of the limpers out of the hand & it worked IMO. its not something i do on a regular basis & i had a semi-tight image at the table - so when I did raise preflop it spooked a few players.
truth be told, when I bet out the $12 post flop I was expecting to take it down.
I've seen this player make big bets when drawing (she does semi bluff), so I couldnt pin point her on aces. I was hoping that she was on a flush draw, and I had already a set with the nut flush draw. I've seen her bet like that with top two pair as well. so she had a decent range of hands she could be on... But deep inside i suspected aces.
I think the answer i was looking for was that the pot odds were not there to make the flop re-raise...
Anyway, I call her raise.. she rolls over aces... So now I am drawing dead to the board pairing (busto boat draw), and hoping for diamonds... 4th street i missed, 5th street i missed... i cried silently

I actually do fairly well at the game, its just sometimes i stick myself in a bad situation where i should have been able to avoid it. Thus this thread... I came back though and made a few dollars that session.
Maybe next week i'll wear the goggles and helmet.
