If it is a no limit game maybe that changes things, but I cannot imagine folding here for one more bet. I can see how he would have played Ace-Jack or Jack-Ten with the ace or ten of diamonds the way he did.

The tail end of a LIMIT hand? Cmon... |

Not a fold any of us should make getting 14-1 though . |

I know the odds are very compelling to call; but seriously, unless the BB wanted to abuse his bankroll or was on drugs or something (in a limit game). I imagine she knew she was beat. With position on him, it would not be horrible to just call his turn checkraise, planning to bet if he checked the river, or call if he bet river.
I imagine she knew she was beat after he put in the 4th bet on turn and she was mostly drawing for a full'. And the check on river was clever against a very aggressive she-player. But after the checkraise on the river it was very obvious she was beat.
Usually you are staring at a very big hand when tight players checkraise you on the turn. And my God, then the river! How could 2 pair be good after 2 checkraises (with him capping it on the turn) on the big streets? |
