Chips: 1,861 | | | OK, HERE is when it's alright to fold until the bubble. I had $5 in my 'stars account today (don't ask). I entered a $2.75 tournament. I'm currently near the bubble (290 left, 270 get $4.85).
This is the perfect situation to fold to the bubble. Assume I refuse to reload my 'stars account (otherwise I'd be playing at least $4.40/180). Assume I'm willing to take some risks such as entering a tournament with half of my available funds.
I'm folding all but the best four hands until the bubble breaks.
Discuss.
(in the time it took to write this we lost 20 players)
edit: my stack is slightly above average, even folding two orbits.

and... bubble... time to rock-n-roll. Fasten your seatbelts ladies and gentlemen.

The AKo vs. AQo that turned into 8s over Qs was nasty.
*EDIT*
