Interesting spot with JJ

7~8 handed 10/20c NL live cash game at a friend's house. I'm playing with an interesting mixture of decent and newbie players. I have about $10 and so do most other players.

UTG (typically tight/solid, but recently loose in cash games) limps
UTG+1 (unknown, but probably 1/2 decent player with misconceptions about NL) limps
MP (mostly tight/agg decent-thinking player) attempts to raise to $1 but throws in 1 chip without saying anything. We force him to limp.
I expect his range to be TT+/AT+.

CO/Button (beginners) limp as well.
I'm in the small blind.

BB to my left is a good friend, tight/agg preflop slightly weak-tight postflop, and I tend to have a very good read on him. He also has a very good read on my preflop range. If i raise, i expect BB to call with AQ+/pocket pair.

I have JJ in the small blind -- what should I do?

I'll post what I did and continue with the story later

With $10 in front of you...all-in/rebuy.

Re: Interesting spot with JJ

MP worries me. Limp into this 7-way flop (assuming BB checks). Flop will be JJQ, you check, and the players with KQ, QQ, AA, and KK will go all-in before the action gets back to you. You sextuple up because one guy folded AK and nobody can suck out on you!

Re: Interesting spot with JJ

Limp and be prepared to call a raise by the BB. A play that can hide your JJ fairly well (I think, but then again I am still newer to cash games)

Re: Interesting spot with JJ

Was the chip the guy threw in a $1 chip? How does this not constitute an 80 cent raise?

I'd raise it to $2.00.

Throwing in a larger chip and not saying raise means it's a call. That's pretty standard in card rooms, i believe.

Re: Interesting spot with JJ

I hate 3-betting with JJ. That's just me. So, I'm probably limping here since one player already wanted to raise. I don't want to raise, then get reraised, and have to put all my money in the pot with JJ. If you would have 3-bet him anyways, then raise.
