he checks to you on the turn, hoping you'll bet and he can c/r you again.

Someone raises after him and he can either match or re-raise, depending on his read. A very tight player does not raise AJ or even AQ offsuit because they truly are not great hands. I think they are in his range, but less likely than something like QJ. My question was addressed to jojo since he put him on two pair on the flop. I think his range includes AT, KQ, KJ (at least preflop).
