there are 160 different combinations for
AK vs 77 depending which suit you take and a lot of them will have different %

vs

=47,71 vs 51,95

vs

=44,47 vs 55,25

vs

=45,2 vs 54,36
you could say it's about 45 % vs 55 % for the unsuited case, and on PAD they round the numbers
before the flop you can't calculate it exactly, I have seen Sklansky do it on Poker after Dark and he was not 100% accurate, you can learn all combinations but you can make more money counting cards in a Black Jack deck in a casino.
after the flop it's easier when you use the sheet and outs or a formula like this
1-3 Outs: Outs x 2 = % of hitting
3-11 Outs: (Outs x 2) + 1 = % of hitting
12+ Outs: (Outs X 2) + 2 = % of hitting
open ended straight draw( 8 outs) on the turn the chance according to sheet 17,02%
(8 x 2)+ 1= 17
