Two more hands with HQ CASH 1/3

Argosy $1/3 NL

Nuts and bolts for these two.

I've got about 250 in front of me.

I'm holding 7 8 of spades.

6 players go into a blind-straddled pot for $6 each.

FLOP

K 7 8

BB, a very calculating and good player makes it $30.

One caller and now it's my turn to act.

I pop it to $90 and I the BB goes into the tank for a min or so, then shoves. He has me covered. The other caller mucks.

There is a flush draw on the board.

Push or fold here?

2nd hand

I have KK and I'm short stack at $85.

I raise $20 and get two callers.

Flop is 99J

It's checked around to me.

What do you do?

In hand 1 you have 154.00 left and 96.00 plus 90.00 in the pot. So you stand to win 308 plus 186= 496 total if you call which is better than 3: 1 return on your money. Chances of pulling a flush are about 36% so its a sensible bet but you don't have the nut flush. If hes raising with a higher flush draw or has a set and pairs the board you're toast. I fold.

In Hand 2. I'm not folding KK's with 85.00 left and I'm not letting an A come on the turn for free. I raise 60.00 and hope they fold or someone with a jack calls me. If I get raised I'm calling.

Ahh...

I should point out that. I am not on the flush draw with two pair. I was trying to scare it off.

That seems like pretty important info to have left out of the OP!

True... but...

You can't flop two pair and a flush draw.

Uh, where'd the board come from? You folded to the preflop push, right?

the details of hand one, or lack thereof, make it impossible to discuss. Please clarify the circumstances.

hand 2, push.
