Ok around 3:30 this morning I was involved in a hand with Kelly (VIP house)
Game: $5-$5PL
Stacks: fenix $750 Kelly $1500+

Am in late position every one limps I raise pot, one caller + Kelly
FLOP: Ad 2c 4d...... Player pots, Kelly calls Then I repot for all my stack
Player folds and Kelly says to the dealer "DEAL"

Now this is my question WTF dose DEAL mean is it CALL or FOLD (HE NEVER PUSHED ANY AMOUNT OF CHIPS INTO THE POT AFTER THAT AND AFTER THE CARDS WHERE DEALTh HE ShOWS HIS CARDS AND GETS THE POT)

I thought He floded and I had won.............will post more details later

"deal" would not be a binding verbal statement if facing a bet. It could be interpereted as a check in an unrasied pot but it's a stretch to take that as a call unless some chips were pushed out there.

Um... NO DEAL!

He told the dealer everything was OK and now that dealer should have taken the time to check the pot was correct. Is this a casino? If so go to the tape and get your money back!

( dealer was in hig speed mode)........ after he says DEAL I hold my cards in may hand faced down with my arm extended in the middle of the table Thinking he folded, turn and river get dealth 3s and 4

Then i see the chips pushed to kelly afther he shows his hand then .....

fenix " hold on dealer i won "
Dealer " he has a sraight"
fenix " yea but he folded"
kelly "no i didn't I told him to deal"

I start getting mad (one of the few times this has happend)

Fenix " WTF is DEAL ? thats not a call "
kelly " look i floped it "

WE were still arguing about that shitty move 4 hands later.

Sorry my original buyin was $700 I turned into $1100 with in 45 minutes
I had the hole frking table on tilt by making pot size bet and re poting every time i had a chance.

I get 2 bad beats I had sets they had Top two And end up hiting runer runer straights, So i was down to $500 and on tilt thats why i made that move.

I'm still unclear as to the location of this dispute. This was a home game or a casino or a card room? Where? I think we'd all like to avoid it. You either call and put in your chips or raise or fold. There is no deal.

This was in a legal card room? I cannot believe the dealer allowed this to happen without further clarification. You should have immediately called for the room manager to get a ruling...esp. in such a large pot. I agree that the statement "deal" was made to give him a backdoor fold in case you caught.
